Prototype Review

What i must do now??

• Make it so that when 2 of the same animal (e.g. the monkey) come up on the page = one animal is lip-synced and says, "Hello my name is Bongo and i am a monkey!!! what is is your name??? The other animal then is the childs head on the animals body.

• I must then put an audio recording device into flash and then the child can say there name and therefore have a conversation with the monkey.

What i have done so far??

When i met with Val, we both sat down and she showed me how to make a camera/video environment using flash which is simple enough. I then did the basic scripting which was all that was left to do at this stage shown in this video is where i am at, at the moment!!

Proposal

Proposal for “aniMe”

Title:                                         “aniMe”

Abstract Summary:         I am doing my project on the UN of Biodiversity, it is called, “aniMe” which is a booth where a photo is taken of the person (child) in flash, which then comes up with a cartoon version of the persons inner animal and is then transmitted on the main screen to the person and contains audio whereby the animal says its name and where it comes from. Also on the screen is a picture of the child's face on the animals body and the child has the option to record them self saying something back to the animal.

Background/Context:        There are websites on the internet whereby you can take a picture a it will give you your celebrity look alike etc. But my idea is different because it takes a picture of the child and then an animal comes onto the screen and talks to the child and the child has the option to talk back to the animal.

Aim:                 

§  To help a person find its inner animal and to give that person an insight as to how to keep the species alive.

Objectives:                    1) Make a time chart/gannt chart to set myself target dates. 
                                             2) Learn how to make a photo booth environment in Flash.
                                             3) Draw a few animals that i want to include.
                                             4) Make dialogue for the animals and lip-sync so it looks like there saying                                                  it. 
                                             5) Learn how to audio record in flash.
                                             6) Make a presentation and practice presentation in front of  an audience
                                             which has no background knowledge to my project.

IDEA

"aniMe" Building an understanding with your inner animal.

  

This is not like a regular photo booth used for passport photos, its not dedicated to merely a personal subject but a worldwide subject. 

Its for creating a connection and understanding with your inner animal/ be it endangered or not. 

The aim of this photo booth is to be introduced to your inner animal in a light hearted way in the form of a picture, but also gain easy but factual information on your animal and how to keep your animal out of harms way, through the use of audio.
